LAKELAND CARAVAN PARK
ABOUT
US:
Lakeland is a small, diverse rural community flanked by the Laura and
Normanby rivers. There are several large cattle properties and banana plantations
while other landholders use the rich volcanic soil to grow crops such
as pawpaws, passionfruit, watermelons, and sorghum and a newly established tree
plantation.
WHERE
WE ARE:
Lakeland Caravan Park is a quiet, green shady oasis conveniently situated on
the junction of the Mulligan Highway and the Peninsular Development Road.
which takes you to the Tip of Cape York Peninsular.
We are only 80klms south of historic Cooktown and 60klms from Queenslands
most extensive Aboriginal Rock Art region of Laura.
